Our House has been a destination for unique quality home décor in Downtown Barrie since 1993. Our House carries specialty products such as Emma Bridgewater, Brighton Jewellery, Laroche,, L'othantique, Gurgle Pots, Sophie Conran, and so much more. We pride ourselves on our reputation. Make a trip to our Downtown neighbourhood and visit our beautiful store for inspiration and a friendly welcome. Our House truly makes living ‘feel like home’!

We opened Our House with our Mum Dorothy Howell in June of 1993 after working together most of our lives in our Dad's welding business. We needed to do something creative together and in Sandi's living room, Our House was born. 

We try to create a unique shopping experience by featuring products we love and have or want in our homes. 

Our House features pottery, home accents, kitchenware, locally made bath and body products, and accessories and so much more! 

We put a part of ourselves into the store and we hope you enjoy it and continue to support us and our amazing downtown community for many more years to come!

Shipping & Returns

Free Local Pick-up and Delivery (within Barrie). All other shipping calculated at checkout.

Orders placed after 4 PM PST Monday-Thursday will be sent out the following business day.

We do not process orders over the weekend. Orders placed on Friday after 4PM PST will be shipped the following Monday.

Shipping to Canada and the US.

All orders are shipped via Canada Post.

All orders are subject to change based on availability. You will be notified within 24 hours if the item you ordered is no longer available.

Shipping cost will be calculated at check out.

Local orders may be picked up in-store. Simply select the “Pickup” option during checkout.

Your order will be held for 7 days in store while awaiting pickup. If you have not contacted us for an extension before the 7 days are up, the item will be restocked and a credit will be applied to your account.

Merchandise must be returned within 14 days of receipt.

Merchandise may only be exchanged for another item or store credit.

Merchandise must be unused and must have all tags attached.

All ‘On Sale’ items are final sale and may not be returned.

Shipping and handling will not be refunded.

All items must in inspected for any damage or discrepancies within 48hrs of receipt. Please contact us via email asap with any concern and photos if necessary.
